Capella Group has companies in various fields ranging from Investment and Asset Management, Real Estate Development, Agri Business, Charity and Societal Services and Advocacy for good governance. Capella Group is fully owned by Mallam Suleiman A. Barau and family.
Companies in the Group
In the Group are Maxyield Agri-Ventures, Consolidated Investment Trusts Limited, Ranseal Limited, Capella Investment Limited and the Iliyasu and Lauratu Foundation.
Leadership
The Directors of the companies are well grounded, with wide experience in business management. Mallam Suleiman Barau, of particular reference, is a retired Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria. His vast knowledge of business management would certainly see the growth of the companies to unlimited heights.
Mallam Suleiman inherited the agricultural business as a family business and has grown in it. He has been a practising farmer all his life and has ventured into all aspects of agricultural production with reasonable levels of success.
In the area of Investment and Asset Management, Suleiman's decades of experience in the finance sector, spanning 17 years of commercial banking and 12 years at the CBN, with 10 years as Deputy Governor, have given him invaluable know-how in these areas.
The other Directors, Mallam Iliyasu and Mallam Faysal, also grew up to see agriculture, real estate development and investment management as their family business and learnt the necessary skills from childhood. Therefore, their interest in the business is unshakable.
Charity and Societal Services
In the areas of Charity and Societal Services, Capella Group has been a standout success. Capella Group and its Directors have taken part in community services in various parts of the country, in fields such as Education, Health and Community Welfare, both as a group and individually.
